The Leichhardt Copper Project is located approximately 100km NE of Mount Isa.

Tenement package covers 856km2 and consists of 50 granted exploration, mining and water licenses with a further 11 applications for exploration permits covering 496km2.

Historically, Mount Cuthbert Copper Mine is a proven copper producer with an enviable reputation for producing LME grade copper cathode.

The Mount Cuthbert Copper Mine is undergoing an expansionary phase completing by 2015.

The project is expected to be able to produce up to 9,500tpa of copper.

The Mt Cuthbert copper mine is undergoing an expansionary phase completing by early 2015, following which the project is expected to be able to produce up to 9,500 mta of copper per year readily to be sold to Glencore International AG in accordance with the Off take Agreement which has been executed with the latter.

The acquisition of Malaco Leichhardt Pty Ltd propelled Malaco closer to its vision of becoming Malaysia largest copper company.
